نہیں کرتی تو وہ از خود ڈسٹ بن کی نذر ہو جاتی ہے، اور جو کتاب ان میں سے کوئی ایک کام بھی کامیابی سے کر لے، وہ قاری کے دل میں جگہ بنا لیتی ہے۔ کبھی پرانی نہیں ہوتی، کبھی مرجھاتی نہیں، کبھی مرتی نہیں۔ اس کتاب کے ساتھ بھی ایسا ہی کچھ معاملہ ہوا، جو اپنی بنت میں کوئی کتاب تھی ہی نہیں ۔ یہ محض ایک لکھاری کے کچھ کٹھن ایام کی جستہ جستہ کتھا تھی ، جس میں پڑھنے والوں نے اپنا اپنا چہرہ دیکھا۔ اسے بے تحاشا پیار ملا ، اپنائیت ملی ، قبولیت ملی اور ہمارے سماج میں جسے بے تحاشا قبولیت اور مقبولیت مل جائے اس پر سنگ زنی لازم ہو جاتی ہے۔ سو، یہ سنگ زنی اس کتاب اور اس کے مصنف پر بھی ہوئی۔ مگر اس کا اثر ایسا زوردار تھا کہ رد کرنے والے بھی اسے ڈسٹ بن کی نذر نہ کر سکے، اس پر رائے دیئے بنا نہ رہ سکے۔ اس دعوے کا ثبوت سال بھر میں آنے والا اس کا یہ پانچواں ایڈیشن ہے۔ یہ
